PROGRAMS IN MARICOPA COUNTY Cat Nip & Tuck Cats Only. Cat Nip & Tuck provides low-cost spay/neuter certificates for cats in Maricopa County. The cost to you is $30 per female cat or $18 per male cat. Application, pre-payment and appointment at participating veterinarians required. For tame or feral cats, but no trapping assistance is available. Feral cats will be ear-tipped. Participating veterinarians are located throughout the Valley.  This program is made possible by underwriting from FACC's - Friends of Animal Care & Control. Spay/neuter surgeries for pitbulls and pitbull mixes are provided at no cost to the caregiver, and a $20 check will be mailed to the dog's caregiver following the surgery. Contact one of the Maddie's Fund participating vets to schedule an appointment.
